Hi,
I need new tires and since I am a cheap *******, i was looking at some used take offs.
The new 1500s come with the 6x5.5 bolt pattern. I have a 2016 with the 5x5.5 pattern. I found some 5x5.5 to 6x5.5 adapters.
Has anyone run these on their truck? They add 2" and I'm concerned they may push the wheels out too far.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Oem wheels with a 2” spacer won’t be out too far. Would probably look great IMO.

2” spacer would be roughly -32 offset and certainly be outside the fender even with OEM flares.

Personally would look for the right bolt pattern.

With no flare or factory flares I’d prefer -25 in a 20x10 on our trucks. I think it looks perfect

He’s gonna be a quarter inch out further which will look good I think if he runs some oem flares

Honestly the best place to look is custom offsets and see what different offsets look like on a Ram to decide

Some people like the factory +18 offset and some like a crazy -76 offset with half the wheel hanging out lol.

Oh and have you checked with BORA?

Can’t they make the 5 to 6 lug adapter down to 1.5” for our trucks?

That would get you to around -20 offset on an oem wheel
