Hello all

Thought I would share my mpg's. Towed 6500lb travel trailer with 2018 Ram 2500 and wdh across Kansas and into Colorado to RMNP. Going across Kansas I ranged 11.7 to 12.5 mpg's. Do 60 mph. Getting into the mountains I got 10.7 to 11.1 mph. I was extremely happy with this. Engine worked hard and temps were normal for engine and trans. I did see oil temp get as high as 240 degrees trans was 170 overall. So I am pleased.

Yep pretty much consistent with my truck. I assume your quoting the evic...which for me is around 1-2 mpg higher than actual on average

Just checked my evic again yesterday. It was off exactly 2 mpg. It's simply a feel good gauge.

4x4? Cab configuration? Rear end size?
I have a 12 5.7 2500 4x4 cc short bed. I get about eight MPG hand calculated going either a 7500 lb 21 foot travel trailer or a 9500 pound 37 foot travel trailer. Seems like the size and weight of the trailer don't make a difference just how much wind hits the front of it. I don't go over 65 because that is the limit of the tires.
