6" exhaust tips are actually the right size ;)

Haha! It's not like I can't go back to 5" tips if the 6" ones look terrible... right?! :)

It's a ****** picture, but I think they look pretty damn good here:

I think 5" tips are great imo, you have to remember you are driving a gasser not a diesel

You guys are probably right... :(

Maybe I'll take a look at my current 5" tips and see how I can make them fit better, to get the look I want.

OR... maybe I should finally pull the trigger on the roll pan. ;)

If you were to buy them from amazon you could return them if you didn't like them :) haha they actually have a "buyers remorse" option for reasons for return!

BINGO. If you want to go custom, then go custom...not just a bigger tip in a stock location.

I think the rollpan idea is the way to go.

IDK what the big deal is… 5 or 6" tips its not like your going to create SOOOO much less back pressure that you'll loose HP. Its a tip guys… does nothing but give the A-hole behind you something to stare at in their prius and wish he had the balls to go big or go home.

I say do it or I will lol. Im on board but Im gona make it fit my stock 2.25" exhaust :)

Someone has balls of steel! I kinda like the 6" tips myself but I also hate the stock tips, so anything would be better then them

Nobody said anything about power or back pressure.
We said we don't like the way it looks. It's all personal opinion. If the OP likes it and does it, he may change our minds.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... wait a second! These are DIESEL exhaust tips, I will gain AT LEAST 60 ft lbs of torque over the gasser tips. :roflsquared:

Personally I think the 6" tips would look awesome! I love my 5" but if I had the the option of getting 6" at the time I probably would have.

For ***** and giggles I ordered one cheap, ebay 6" exhaust tip to slip on and see if I like it.
It is not that I am convinced that I will even want to do this mod, but more that I keep thinking about it and I just need to get it out of my system, lol!

Worse case scenario this will make a nice paper towel holder. :roflsquared:

Soo many other uses! Maybe the lawn mower could use some sprucing up :roflsquared: but really I like the paper towl holder idea! Well get pics right?

I saw a jacked up Ford F350 with what had to be a 10-12" exhaust MBRP tip on it. It was big enough to stick my head into almost. could launch watermelons!

Lol! I had a Nissan Titan when it first came out and I put a Banks monster exhaust system on it. IIRC that thing had an 8" tip on it! I thought that one day I would have to pull a dead cat or rabbit out of it...

8" is just ridiculous on a gasser but 6", 6" could be just right :waytogo:
