So I'll ask the dumb question, just to clarify...the measurements you provided are from ground to center of wheel well correct? are you running the body lift kit also or just the suspension kit?

Also, would you be willing to provide the part # for the bilsteins?

I won't mind some rubber sticking out-I like the way candy08 (blake) looks, but Im not looking to stick way out like a pre-runner setup. So with that said maybe i'm looking for a -10 to -18 offset? The offset takes place for the backspacing right-just different words and measuring system( -10 vs 4.5 backspacing?). I'm sure the numbers aren't right there, just making a comparison.

So 1400 is by far the cheapest lift kit on the market, but is there a vendor on here that offers the kit for less? Not trying to be cheap about it, but would like to save if possible. I was originally going to go with 35's, but after seeing how the 37's look on ppl's rides I want to go that route now...and at about 400+ a tire AT LEAST rubber will run the build up$$$$$$

I have had a rubicon that started from stock and was turned into a beast of a wrangler...and still own a YJ that I'm constantly changing and upgrading things on.......I really just want to do this once and do it right on the RAM

Thanks for the quick response fastNugly
Chad

Measurement is from ground running through the center of wheel below the fender or touching the fender.

I am not running a body lift and actually debating on whether I should or not.

Backspace and offset go hand in hand

$1400 is a damn good price. Not sure you will find anymore cheaper. If you do, its a few $$ here and there but nothing like $200.

But yea, I bought 35's and was about to put them on with my 8" + lift and then last minute got my shop to swap out the 35's for 37's and do not regret it one bit.
There are a few here that went the 35 route and are wanting to sell their 35's to go 37's
Spend the money now, although it cost more now, it will cost you more in a few months when you want to sell your tires and grab 37's

Anymore questions, fire away :birgits_tiredcoffee

I've looked around too. Going right from RC I can get military discount but then there is shipping cost. Pretty sure when I get my lift, it will be a RCX though

You can....Do the lift and roll around on stock wheels
Just dont post pics here so no one will say anything :roflsquared:

Kidding....but yea, Do Bilsteins and 35's
Then throw the lift on after and drop the Bilsteins if you still want to run the 35's

Just trying to help you get lifted sooner or some part of our lift in stages :********:

Bilsteins come along way. For $200, can't go wrong as you can still use EM when you lift :naughty:

Thanks man, ya I'll probably do this if I don't have the cash when I get back from AFG bc I have a brand new stock truck and want to do a bunch of other stuff and also get parts for my Harley and buy my new race bike as well.

So much money to have nice things, imagine how much money we would have if we stayed stock and were happy with that, but where's the fun in that now?

For me.....if I didn't spend it, my wife would and I would have a truck bed full of womens clothing, bags and damn shoes and don't forget the matching belts. LOL
So....I'll spend it first :naughty:

back from deployment! going for another$$$$

Great lift!
Did you install anything else with the 6" RCX? Bilstein? Or did the kit practically level out?
Im planning on either a BDS or RCX (for cost reason's)

:********:

sorry so late, just looked when i had my last post and its been a good minute. To answer to your question though, in the pics i had only rough country lift kit parts, the rear measured 45.5" and the front measured 45" from ground to fender. now, over a year later, the rear is 45" and the front 43.5" so this past week i bought the bilstein 5100's that everyone talks about. but when i was getting them installed one of the shafts snapped on the shock!:flame: so the mechanics put back on the stocks and i was out $150.00 for install while debating did i just waist an add. $300 bilstiens. called bilstien and no help from them b/c a modified truck voids warranty,:suicide: so called 4wheelparts where i bought the parts and wasnt a 5 min conversation they where replacing the deffected part and also installing the parts for free tommarro:favorites13: :flipthebird:bilstien warranty b/c of them i almost went with pro comps new monoshock to level the front....so what im telling you is the 6" RCX lift is great, good offroad, not to bad to install, great on the wallet, but like every other lift you will get front rake and its all how you want to compensate, noticed bighorn4life was one of the originals to put bilstein 5100's on and kinda set the standard for the last couple years but, there are many more options to level rake....done with this novel, hope it helps
