Hello all,
Looking for recommendations for a local transmission repair shop in the Sacramento, CA area to help me resolve my 5-4 Hard Downshift issue? Just started at the 82k mark

I had a hard downshift issue at 40-45K miles and RAM replaced the valve body under warranty and that resolved the issue. I had hard down shift issues again at about 90K miles and had a shop do a "Transmission Relearn" procedure and that resolved the problem for a while and at 120K miles it did it again. I just replaced my valve body with a RevMax HD valve body and did the installation myself. You have to do another Relearn procedure though so you'll need access to an OBDII tool that has access to FCA firewall via an AutoAuth account. So far the valve body is working well and the transmission shifts better than when it was new.
