Here is a fun one: I was arriving at work this morning and went to click the X on the maps screen to end the navigation. I use Android Auto as I have a 8.4 UAS out of a 2019. I obviously touched something, can't figure out what, but my volume shot to the maximum level and I would have shot into the atmosphere if not for the roof. Tried to find the radio fuse that is all by itself somewhere behind the battery (nice design) and could not find it. Took cables off battery which reset volume.

I see a random post or two with similar problem but no way to figure out what causes it. It has to be inadvertently touching a spot on screen in just the right way.

At 5:30 in the morning, that works way better than coffee or an energy drink.

1000014836.jpgnothing in here looks like what is described as the radio fuse. This is the driver back corner of the engine bay, behind the battery, main fuse box, and then the secondary fuse box on left side in picture.

The fuse is high up in the wire bundle on the passenger side firewall.

I will go back and check it out. I found some conflicting information on line about the fuse, some times saying 1500s were different than my 2500. Will admit I gave up looking as I had to get into the office. Thanks for the information and pictures, I will go take a look.

I just walked out to my truck and looked all over. I cannot find the radio fuse no matter where I look. Will admit the truck is kind of tall and even though I'm near 6 ft it's still feels like I'm a little kid. I'll have to get a step stool and kind of get up over it. Here's a couple more pictures, the first and last are from the passenger side and then the middle two are the driver side. No idea why they are out of order.1000014840.jpg side.

This happened on my wife's Charger at 3k miles except it would go wide open and blue screen. No way to fix it but cycle the key until the next round. They ended up replacing the entire radio.
