8.4 UCONNECT CONVERSION NOT TURNING ON

yesterday i swapped in an 8.4 uconnect 2020 from a chrokee onto my ram i had an ra1 before,
all the buttons from the besel work and it illuminates but the radio doesnt turn on no matter what
i tried resetting it by holding bomume and tune button disconnected the battery plugged everything firmly but nothing

so right now im trying to figure out why, if anybody can help please

one thing is the radio doesnt turn get warm

Is it a two part radio? Screen and radio module?

no its just a regular 8.4 uconnect one whole assembly

Did you check the inline fuse against the drivers side firewall? The radios actually have 2 fuses for them.

yea its good plus my ra1 and my aftermarket radio power on immediately

no audio like it seems dead, it might because its incompatible with my truck i have 2017 express and the radio is from a 2021 jeep

i might need to purchase a radio from a ram classic to make it work

That would be my recommendation. You want a UAS or UAQ 8.4.

either or to be honest i mostly want it it for carplay but if i can get UAQ for NAV thatll be nice

where do you recommend i search for them, ebay has some outrageous sellers pricing them at $800 for a delaminated screen

Search the salvage yards here. The longer you look the better deals you can find.
