2020 ram 1500 Bighorn 8.4 UAs. Story goes like this I wanted to update the software. Obliviously it has not done it ota. I got the software https://desk.infotainment.com/portal/en/kb/articles/uas from here. I put it into the root as directed (unzipped of course) it's a fat32 MBR thumb drive. Plugged it in waited 10 minutes nothing (truck was idling) I unplugged the battery waited an hour plugged it back in still nothing. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong. TIA

>> Is this a on 4th Gen classic with 5 lug wheels or new body style 5th Gen?

>> What radio application version is the radio currently on?
(Not firmware version. It's in the dealer menu... Key in run, Press and hold: Temp Up + Temp Dwn + Front Defrost for 5-10 secs)

>> Did you read the related/similar TSB (tech service bulletin) for how to install it?

Hopefully you're not trying to install an incompatible version. (Those files are for 4th Gen classic Panasonic 4c radios only)

also I realized I posted the wrong link. https://desk.infotainment.com/portal/en/kb/articles/uas this is what I was following sorry. I suppose I misread the files. Yes its a 5th generation bighorn 8.4 non nav. No updates were pushed as it did not recognize. I opened the dealer menu and the attached is the only information I saw. I would go and find the TSB you are referring to.

since that's not a 4th Gen Panasonic 4c radio, those files, (from this thread) are Not For Your Truck and why the radio doesn't recognize it.

Yeah I did not mean to post that link. I updated the link that I was actually following. Either way, they look like the same files is there a 5th gen update guide that I am missing?

No forum guide, and I don't have the 5th Gen stuff ... Check the build sheet/window sticker and verify your radio model, but I think it may be a 5th Gen UAv non nav radio. (UAq & UAs are 4th Gen 4c series radios)

Infotainment had "related links" at the bottom of link you already posted for the UAv section.

Don't delete/close it... That helps no one else.
Please post what you did/what worked for for your radio model for others.
