I bought my 2013 RAM in April of 2013 from dealer yard stock. They had 2013s with both the 6-speed and the new ZF-8 speed which was being phased in as standard equipment. On my 2013, the ZF-8 was listed on the WS as a $500 option. It was on the 3.6L V6 in '13, it was an option on the Hemi in '14
This was an interesting screw-up by RAM on the WS. Under standard equipment, the axle ratio is listed as 3:55 which is the ratio that came with the 6-speed. The 8-speed had either a 3:21 as standard or an optional 3:92. I caught this mistake and capitalized on it. Ended up with a lifetime $0 deductible Maxcare, a $500 Mopar gift certificate, and a set of bed rails, installed.
