my truck is a 2014 Express with the 5.7/8spd, trans temps 185-190deg normal operation range
my buddies is a 2015 Express with the 5.7/8spd, trans temps 165-170deg normal operation range

both on factory fill

was there a hardware change between 2014 and 2015? Seems odd my trans runs so much warmer.

Thoughts? Info?

I also have a 2014 Express with the 5.7/8spd and my trans temps are also 185-190deg. Seems to be normal.

Same trans oil cooler in both? Do the 8spds have a tranny temp sensor on them like a T-Stat on the engine?
