Took maybe five minutes to cleanly install it, and is worth every penny. Even better that it’s a lower cost option.

Mode 3.9 is nearly undriveable trying to smoothly take off from a standing start. Mode 2.6 (preset) is still an improvement over factory throttle response.

(Edited to add)
Zero issues, no error codes. Truly plug and play with a smile on my face.

When you say nearly un drivable I'd love to hearwhat you mean exactly. Is it just smoking the tires on dry pavement? Sure seems like that would be putting extra unintended torq on your drive shaft, trans, rear gears, etc.???

Just doesn't sound healthy for the truck in the long term or for already high mileage trucks.

Where did you order yours through?

Would I personally like that type of instant power? Yes.

It’s driveable but almost incapable of doing much more than launching hard from a start. Then again, I have neuropathy from a spinal cord injury and have lost extremely fine motor coordination from what I had before my injury.

You can easily tune it back. It’s not a negative IMO.

I got it from eBay. I verified the year was compatible before ordering. It took about a week and a half coming from China and was packaged extremely well / professionally.

Wow on that price. I found it on Amazon for $159.00

I thought the same thing. I jumped on it immediately. Seller was super reputable and replied to the tracking question I sent in one business day.

Not yet, but I’m sure I’ll install a tuner eventually. It’s just an otherwise stock R/T with a Carven Progressive exhaust kit.

That is the problem with these. They are hit or miss if they work correctly and then they do wonky stuff like this. No real customer support either. That is why we offer the Pedal Commander over these cheaper units. The Pedal Commander is a proven product and IF ever needed PC offers great customer support.
