So 5 years ago I needed a truck to tow customers cars back and forth to my tuner (owned a performance business specializing in Mustangs and Corvettes at the time ) the good old 01 Suburban wasn't cutting it anymore. My shop was 5 mins from my house and my tuners shop was 50 miles away . I always liked the way the rams looked and the price was right . I grabbed a tradesman with tow package off the lot for dirt cheap simply because I needed it for a purpose . Wife has a Overland GC so thats the nice car lol .
Well 90k later and a ton of health issues with my wife I took a job with 2 of my very good customers to pay off this medical debt we have acquired. My drive is now 100 miles a day for the last year and a half .I found this forum searching for a way to modify bcm settings and its been a wealth of information .
90k miles no real issues it was time to show the old girl some love . Tired of all the rattles and squeaks of the cheap ass plastic interior I dynamatted the full interior minus the roof (havent taken the headliner down yet) I covered the dynamat with noico red .80 mil . Replaced the tired interior speakers with pioneer d spec all around , upgraded to the 8.4 nav swapped the cluster for 7" evic did the good old center console swap and wrapped the bezels with gloss black 3m and carbon fiber 3m. Did the single zone Atc harness from M2 Mods .
Corrected and coated the exterior . New fabtech bars and gator cover . Chaged all the fluids with Amsoil stuff I am dealer and have used it for years . 4 wheel brake job , steering rack, front axles, wheel bearings , ball joints , I already have the bilsteins will be replacing those before winter they have 94k on them now . Delphi fuel pump unit since for as long as I can remeber I have had the wonderful fuel level code come on and off .
