94 Dakota 5.2 Manual Trans swap issue

I have swapped my auto transmission with a manual 5 speed. Everything is working great except the 4wd light and backup lights. I believe I have the backup light issue solved, but I can't find where to plug in the wire harness for the 4wd light on the trany or transfer case. Probably just missing it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to mention, the transmission is out of a 95 Dakota. NV3500

By 4x4 light i assume you mean the one that lights up when you engage 4x4?

Just for clarification, your post is titled 94 dakota and you say you swapped a 95 dakota trans correct? Or do you have a ram and swapped a dakota trans?

If you have a ram the 4x4 light is just a contact switch/sensor inside the CenterAxleDisconnect or CAD. They get gummed up with junk.

Sorry, it is a 94 Dakota 5.2. I swapped the original auto trans with a 5 speed manual out of a 95 Dakota.
Also it is an NP231 transfer case. I was thinking it was on top.
