i go to get in the truck, start it up and turn on the A/C, turn it on low while i finished my cigarette. go to turn it on full blast and the blower stops but the a/c light is still on, even after i shut the a/c totally off. i leave it and stop by my uncles house down the street. i come back and turn it on and it works. its been doing this for a few days now and one time it didnt come on so i left it on the highest fan speed and shut the truck and went in the house. came back out a little while later and the fan was on with the truck off and the keys in the house? its been acting weird. sometimes there like no blower at all but i can feel a little cool air coming out, other times it does nothing. yesterday on lunch i sat in the truck and turned the fan on before i started the truck and it came on, but after starting it, it wouldnt work. did it a few times before it actually stayed on. i havent had time to mess with much, been busy and yesterday was a 12 hour work day. i leave in a bit to go to work today too. im stumped. has anyone had this happen or heard of anything like that?

A few days ago I came home from work with everything working fine. About an hour later I go to start my truck and I get no air at all. First time doing this. Read some threads and found the problem just now. Tested the blower using the battery and it worked. Resistor looked used but decent. Removed upper steering wheel cover and something caught my eye. To the left back side there's a black box with wiring. I had a green and a red wire sliced and found that odd. That got my attention so as i ****** the wiring around my ac started to work. Hope this helps.
