My AC compressor on my 2006 Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins Diesel Megacab is working and charged with Freon but isn't blowing cold air. I suspect it may be one of the vacuum doors in the ductwork but not sure. Can anyone tell me how many doors there are or have any other ideas about what might be causing the problem?

Not vacuumed controlled electric motor sometimes they fail or the door brakes. I think this is the right diagram haven't had a 3rd gen in a while. Do you feel any temp difference when you turn the knob?

When the system was charged with freon was it evacuated first? I have seen it where people wont know any better and just charge the system and it wont work good at all with air/moisture in the system.

Thanks, jws123. There's no temp change and I took the blower motor off and found out it is the recirculation door. The motor is working fine but apparently, the plastic lock that mounts to the motor is broken. Thanks for the input and the diagram.

It's been working fine and just quit all of a sudden. It's got a full charge and I can't even remember the last time it was charged but it was checked by a friend with gauges just last week.
