2008 Dodge ram A/C stopped Working ?!?

Hey, wondering if anyone knows abouts air conditioning on 2008 dodge ram TRX HEMI. It was working but was a bit inconsistent ice cold to cold enough, then just stopped it was blowing a bit of frost air put vents as well. But my line out of the bottom of my condenser is hot until halfway up my fender. Then all the sudden it turns ice cold from there to the firewall I feel there must be a restriction is there an expansion valve behind the firewall and dash? Or would evaporator core just all the sudden plug something stopping my ac from getting through seems to be working up until there. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS

Perhaps the freon is low? I had to add freon to my 2005 Hemi several years ago, and it's been working fine ever since.

I'm not sure about the expansion valve location, sorry.
