Hi.
After getting your truck lifted with new wheels and tires, what do you do with your old set that is in perfect condition and good tread on the tires?
Try to sell them? Good luck.

In Ohio you put 265 or 275 wide dedicated snow tires on them, and switch em out for winter .... That way your fancy new wheels never see salt .... Besides, 12.50 wide AT’s and MT’s aren’t worth a **** in deep snow

I threw 'em on Craigslist and was rid of them in a day. Guess they were priced right..

dealing with people on any kind of marketplace sucks 99% of the time.. people suck in general whenever money's involved. But the alternative is letting stuff rot and living with clutter so I guess it's just what we gotta do.

Not a dumb question at all. I sold my Rebel takeoffs to a member on this Forum. Semi-local to me, we met in the middle and all was well. Selling items like that is certainly a crapshoot. Good luck.

Ok thanks. Just hate the thought of getting stuck with 4 wheels in my garage indefinitely which I’m already trying to pack 10 lbs of crap into a 5 lb box

A lot depends on what they are, certain wheels will go much quicker than others.
For ex. Limited 20" wheels will sell quicker than stock 17 plain janes. Blackout 20's will go quicker, Sport 22's might sell quick.
Just depends.

If you aren't asking a whole lot, this is a good time to get rid of plain janes - many people are looking for wheels to put winter tires on. Esp. the 17" version.

Try throwing them on craigslist and see if they sell.

I happened to be very lucky and had my neighbor/friend sell my tires and rims last week. I do not have Facebook so he offered to sell my items on his Facebook marketplace and I was able to get rid of them in 24 hours. He basically did all the work but he sells a lot of car parts on his 68 Camaro so he did not mind doing it. I cant give water away to someone dying of thirst in the dessert but he can sell ice to an eskimo and he knows that. I paid him even though he did not want any money because someone that does work at my house wanted to buy them but he slept and I was able to sell it for double the price so it was a win win for me
