Ok, so I was looking at my truck the other day on level ground and noticed that the left side in the back was sitting a little lower then the right side. I thought I was looking at it weird or something so, I took out the tape measure and noticed a 1/2" difference. So, I then started to really pay attention and noticed that my truck goes to the left a little bit when I let go of the steering wheel. So, I took it to the alignment place to see what the guy noticed. He noticed the same thing and measured the same thing I measured and got the same results. So, then I took it to the guy that did my lift and he said that he was going to take a look at it. He noticed it also. He crawled under there and looked at everything and he thought that it looked fine. So, he called Rough Country and see what they say. They said to make sure that I ride around on it for about a week to see if it settles down. Well, been doing that for awhile now and it's still the same.. So, the Rough Country guys said to switch out the spring to the right side and see if it sits lower on that side. After I do all that and then they will determine if the spring is off and will send me others. I guess my question is has anybody else had this type of issue before and what did you do to fix it?

Sounds to me like you got a bad spring. I would switch sides like RC suggests and once they know for sure its a spring issue should send you another. With the truck sitting level I would measure the arch of the two springs, that should tell you real quick.

Makes since... I'll do that. But, if it's a bad spring I'm just wondering why go through all that switching and just send me another now.

Mostly all these trucks have a case of the dodge leans..mine has been .5" lower like yours since i got it..I have two spacers in rear that are .5" difference in height to level it...Doubt it's rcx problem

True, could just be a dodge thing also. Like I said I would measure your spring arch. If RC sends you another spring and it still sits a little weird just chock it up to the way the truck is and install a 1/2 inch spacer.

So, this is a fairly common problem then?

Yes I've seen many posts on one side leaning in the rear..including mine..most ppl just dont notice it I'd say
Switch the coils around and if it still leans just order a .75" spacer for the low side..or if you want exact get two different size spacers for rear and get some bilsteins in front to raise it up with the rear

Going to try to take the truck in so the guy that put the lift on can take a look at it today?

Could be a spring....but with you telling me it sits lower on the left side tells me your lean is due to the gas tank.

Well, seems like it's about the same with a full tank compared to almost empty.

So I guess when I take it in and we switch the springs and if it leans to the right side I will have my answer. lol

Pretty much. The good thing is switching out springs is fairly simple. Remove wheels, drop axle and swap the springs. Shouldn't take long.

So, if the spring is low on the left and after 2 alignments and the truck goes to the left that is probably the spring right?
