If you have a 94-02 with the 5.9 magnum (or 5.2) and it feels super sluggish I highly recommend a throttle body spacer paired with a cold air intake. I recently just installed both and immediately could tell a huge difference in power. Especially leaving from a stop. It no longer feels slow and laggy, it's relatively cheap too. I spent right around 100 for mine

Did they also happen to clean that intake and throttle body out while adding the spacer?

Just for the record guys, his older 5.9 uses the bath tub intake which is kind of similiar to an old school carb intake manifold, and the extra plenum volume added by a throttle body spacer might help a bit.
I'm not saying it will for sure ,but there might be a slight gain and some merit to his findings.

Color me skeptical (having owned a 5.2 and 5.9). IF it was one with the twin holes, it might keep velocity up and help with the air turning inside the manifold.

My 5.9 had a modified intake manifold. It helped more on midrange rpms but wasn't earth shattering by any measure. My intake mod increased volume but shortened the runner.

Now a mild tune, esp. adding some timing, that helped a lot.

Cold air intake, well stock is one, but he might have a freer flowing intake.
