A Pillar Grab Handles broken

['06 Ram 2500]

I have a ‘06 2500 SLT with grey interior. The passenger side A Pillar Gran Handle broke while getting into the truck. I need it as the truck is lifted. All the Aftermarket pieces seem to be beige and would need painting and have a weird perforation on the grab handle.

Epoxy on the broken caps didn’t hold as a first attempt to fix. Now I have found metal caps that can be glued in place. Has anyone tried this fix. I ordered two sets from Amazon because I want to keep the stock trim piece. The metal caps can also be installed on the driver’s side to keep it from breaking.
