About to get new truck

Hey I'm ready to buy self a new truck. I've been looking at the 2012 Laramie diesels, or an slt with some options. Just wondering if there is anything I need to look out for when looking at them? I do like the fact the they do not have Def. And I would be ripping off all emissions once I buy one.

I'm a newbie here but I've been on the Diesel forums for years. The 12 is a good truck but with the advent of the 13/3500 and 14/2500 it is of older technology and older frame style and strength. They also drink Diesel and need more frequent oil changes. That said they are a great truck, but with the way they hold their value unless its a great deal or you plan on deleting it I would look at the new SCR/DEF, and redesigned frame trucks. 13+3500 and 14+2500 (the engine was upgraded in 13 on the 2500's but not the frame).

That's just my opinion though, fwiw.
