I officially received the letter about the recall for my ABS Brakes system, etc and the letter said no parts yet to fix it. I have a brand new 2018 3500 Ram dully I haven't been able to drive for some time now, more particularly to haul our RV with because of this. It only has 37K miles on this truck and it's really starting to tick me off enough to file suit for lack of use to my Truck. I am just ticked. Anyone else get theirs fixed yet? I call frequently to see if they have the parts, NOPE!

There's no reason you can't drive it, the brakes will not fail. If the ABS light comes on it just means you won't have the anti-lock feature. ESC won't work either. I've read that parts are available in a limited supply. Keep calling your local dealer parts departments. If you're handy there's a YouTube video on how to fix the issue. It's caused by the electric motor brushes not moving inwards as they wear. The brush holders are too tight.

Did you take your vehicle to the dealer and open a repair invoice (for the recall) - so that the necessary parts will be ordered for your vehicle?

I did that for a 2015 Ford Expedition Limited that I had that was recalled for a potential fire in the front HVAC motor. The dealer agreed to order the part (on backorder) and open a repair invoice. It did take one year and one day for Ford to provide the part (for my vehicle) to the dealer’s part’s department.

No they said we just had to call to see when parts were available. I have been hounding them ever since. They said they had so many people they couldn't contact us to let us know we would just have to keep calling.

I am not driving a fully loaded RV with about 20K pounds of pull behind this truck. You also can't use the cruise control and that makes long trips especially hard for this short old gal. Yes I drive it to the store occasionally to keep the engine up to speed, but seriously when you pay as much as this truck cost you at lease like it to be in top condition so you can drive it or sell it. Who would want to buy this truck?

I'd buy it. It's not a difficult fix to make so even if I couldn't get the dealer to do it I'd fix it and move on. I certainly wouldn't have an expensive paperweight in my yard. If you're only taking short trips with no load you're doing far more damage to the emission system than anything else.

I agree that they should have a fix by now, but it is what it is. I'd find a solution versus just letting it sit.

Stellantis does not have a workable replacement and NO ETA...

Follow me on X @dunn12941 where I am lobbying them to BUY MY TRUCK BACK DIRECTLY. I DO NOT want to trade it in through a dealer. I want a check for fair market private sale directly from Stellantis.
