ABS control module

2016 RAM - ABS Control Module went bad. ABS, parking break and electronic braking system error message showing. The shop said it’s was the electronic module only. I have called dealers all over and no one has the part in stock. Showing that it’s on back order for an undisclosed amount of time. Anyone know where to get electronic module only?

I bought a used unit on eBay and programmed with AlfaOBD when I replaced mine. There are no "new" modules or ETA that I am aware of

Following this, been waiting 45 plus days and the dealer can only tell me there is a national backorder.....

I'd encourage anyone with this issue to open a case, I opened a case, a case manager and received this a few days ago;

Currently we do not have an ETA. We will provide another update on 9/25/25. The supplier is experiencing significant long term supply interruption resulting from raw material component shortages.

My 2014 just threw the c2200-49 code. Took to dealer yesterday and told me the ABS module (68228991AD) needs replaced. They placed the part on order telling me it's on National Backorder. We'll call you when it arrives. After reading some of the other posts, a Mopar parts online guy mentioned 100pcs. were delivered to stock, to others saying they been waiting several months with no resolution.

Searching the internet, I see several Mopar online parts companies showing the have them in stock, but hard to believe, since dealer is showing a shortage. I don't understand this.

If anyone hears or knows what the latest status on this is, please post up. Thanks

When I replaced mine I initially found a site with the module "in stock". After completing the order I got an email that the part was actually not available due to the mentioned national backorder and I could get a refund or let them hold onto my money until the part was available (which is likely never at the current rate)
If you do decide to order from somewhere that shows "in stock" you might want to contact the seller to confirm before ordering

Update! Got a call from Stellantis and the ABS module should be at the dealership on Wednesday, been a pain in the butt but I do think opening a ticket helped considering I mentioned i was not sure IF the truck was technically operational since I need an inspection sticker in an area that actually hooks up to the machine, tests components and I literally have a warning of needing service to a safety feature lol
Total days: 95, will wait to see if part is in fact at dealership on Wednesday

I also had a similar experience with the ABS module on my 2500. Dealer said part was on backorder, 1 month later they called and had a part. My guess is these parts show up in random batches and then immediately get used to fix cars in the que.

So probably to NO ONE'S surprise, the part has been pushed back twice......I "politely" explained that my next step is to contact the DMV of the state and discuss whether or not an inspection sticker can be obtained. This is frustrating BUT I did replace my brake pads this past weekend so I can stop on a dime lol

Well I had mine replaced about 3 years ago. This week a few times when I started it the Service Brake System message has popped up on my dash for a second. Looks like I'll probably be replacing mine soon again...ugh. Last time cost me about $700

The crazy part is I thought Stellantis was giving updates to the dealership when it's the opposite case??? So the dealership did what they were going to do but the ticket makes them more aware of the issue??? Its just a hot mess honestly.

Let's us know when it comes in. My ABS light has started to become intermittent. It has a mind of it's own now. If I make a trip to the store, come back out and restart the engine, ABS/Traction warning light doesn't back come on. Very strange.

Got the call, part came in and scheduled service with the dealership is Monday! This experience isn't over until the lights on the dash dissappear!

Congrats. At least we know they still make them. I can only hope I get a call someday for replacement too.
