2009 Ram 1500 Larime. Blower motor comes on when the truck is started runs for about 15 seconds. It runs at whatever speed the control is set. Then it shuts off. Stays off for 10 or 12 minutes then works fine as long as the truck is running. Shut down the truck and we start the process all over again. I have replaced the resister and the blower motor itself neither fixed the issue. I took the blower motor connected it to a 12 volt power source the motor fan wide open with no problems. Throw me some ideas please. I'm lost.

Maybe pull the motor and put a meter on the plug and start the PROCESS and see if the plug is losing power, i beleive theres a relay in the fuse box for blower. May be something to check. Could possibly be your fan speed switch.

Which A/C Control head is your truck equipped with? Is it manual temp control or ATC for Automatic Temp Contol?

ATC with dual zone temp control.
I thought that is what you were going to say. If you have replaced the blower motor and the resistor and tested the new blower motor then the A/C Control Head is your culprit. If you can get a good scan tool connected to the truck you can view HVAC DTC's and I bet you will find a few stored in the HVAC controller.

Any recommendations on the scan tool?
