Just did a conversion to an 8.4 RA4 w/navi. Everything works great except for the AC clutch is not engaging. In all the reading and post I've seen here and on 'The Other' forum, I've found some good info and wiring diagrams but none match up to my truck harness. Everything I've seen references a Variable Displacement Compressor that is getting its control from pin 10 in the 24 pin connector. My harness does not have anything pinned to 10, 11 or 12 so there is no pinned connection for the AC clutch Control. The AC Clutch Control signal in my 2014 6.4 Hemi Tradesman comes from the PCM. Has anybody here run into this and have any ideas on getting the AC Clutch Control signal from the HVAC module. I can't find anything on what was initiating that signal from the manual 3-knob control AC Switch to the PCM in order to command the AC Compressor to actuate on (pin 79, I think?).
Any thoughts or help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Did you install the humidity sensor? Check this link out.

No, this is a manual AC setup from the factory. The AC compressor relay gets its signal from the PCM in this OEM harness. I'm trying to figure out if I jump pin 10 (variable displacement compressor signal) from the conversion harness to the signal side of the AC relay (built into the power distribution module pin 79) will complete the circuit needed to engage the compressor.

I'm going to put this here as well for others ...

You're putting a lot of effort into trying to make a bad setup from CarplayNav work (30+ days now). Their support and knowledge of the upgrade process leaves a lot to be desired and why I wouldn't provide them with my harnesses. Your 14Ra4 upgrade should be plug n play.

Ditch the CarplayNav setup, Put the truck back to stock temporarily with original radio/controls. Get a proper harness kit and install it with the 8.4 radio/bezel you have. Done

PS: I strongly suggest you don't go trying to jumper around anything to make something work ... You may make matters worse/unrecoverable.

When you put the truck back to stock at least you can confirm everything still works as it should. You may discover there is something else...Gremlin related?
