I tow a 26 foot trailer, and sometimes with couple motor cycles in the bed. I sure would like to be able to bolt on something that would give me more torque. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Nothing bolt on is going to give you the power increase you're probably looking for. You can get a tuner to give it a little more pep in it's step, but at minimum a cam change (and the custom tuning to go with it) is in order.

If you are serious about the whole "bolt-on" aspect, I would consider a centrifugal supercharger and a tuner with some custom tunes. Set it at about 6lbs. of boost and you will enjoys being able to tow with ease.

There aren't many options in bolt-on's that will give you the oomph that you probably want like @HemiLonestar said.

If you do some research you will find that there are several combinations of bolt-on parts and a cam change with a tune that can yield a significant gain in HP & Torque. It all depends on your budget.

If you wallet is a little light take @HemiLonestar advice and pick up a tuner. It will give you the most bang for your buck .

If torque is the goal, spend the money on some bigger gears. If you needed more torque on a bolt you’d use a breaker bar right...? Same idea. Leverage.

Edit: No idea how I missed ‘bolt-on’. But if you have a 3.21 rear axle, you can ‘bolt on’ a whole 3.92 axle for a good 20% extra torque. 3.55 to 3.92 is a 10% bump in torque. Either way, an axle swap is only a few bolts and brake lines and stuff if you get a used one from a pull a part place. My answer stands. Lol.

I think any 3rd Gen could use a regear if you have the 545RFE. Lol
