Hey all... I know this may be covered elsewhere, but in case it isn't - here it is.
I just bought a 2017 RAM 1500 Sport Crew Cab 2WD and wanted to replace the non-LED rear lighting which consists of:
Reverse Lamps
CHMSL
Cargo Lights
Qualifiers: This truck has the projector headlights, and LED tail lamps, LED front signal lamps. If you don't have this light configuration, I don't know what will or won't work.
The light bar on the roof has three bulbs, all the same, and can be replaced with a white 921 LED bulb, about $24.99 a pair for the Sylvania at most auto parts stores.
The reverse lights, although listed on the web as 921 bulbs, are not. They are W21W, which also translates to 7440, and a 7440 LED will work. Much brighter lights, and closer to 'daylight' than the incandescent bulbs.
Keep in mind, if you put these bulbs in and one doesn't light up, remember that they must be installed properly, so rotate the bulb 180 to line up + and -.
