Hey all... I know this may be covered elsewhere, but in case it isn't - here it is.
I just bought a 2017 RAM 1500 Sport Crew Cab 2WD and wanted to replace the non-LED rear lighting which consists of:
Reverse Lamps
CHMSL
Cargo Lights

Qualifiers: This truck has the projector headlights, and LED tail lamps, LED front signal lamps. If you don't have this light configuration, I don't know what will or won't work.

The light bar on the roof has three bulbs, all the same, and can be replaced with a white 921 LED bulb, about $24.99 a pair for the Sylvania at most auto parts stores.

The reverse lights, although listed on the web as 921 bulbs, are not. They are W21W, which also translates to 7440, and a 7440 LED will work. Much brighter lights, and closer to 'daylight' than the incandescent bulbs.

Keep in mind, if you put these bulbs in and one doesn't light up, remember that they must be installed properly, so rotate the bulb 180 to line up + and -.

Also know you'll get a bulb out warning for your reverse and tag plate lights... I do. Plan on adding resistors soon. I didn't change the CHMSL brake lights.

For those wondering about a "bulb out warning" ... I have not received any warnings on the truck. I think the problem many might be experiencing with the warning is when using a cheaper LED replacement, like Pilot. I've been using the Phillips or Sylvania LED bulbs, which are much better made and they don't produce any problems.

Re: Rebel - as I stated, I don't know for certain what bulbs are used there, I looked mine up online and the source I checked gave me an incorrect bulb number, so I removed the bulbs to make sure which ones they were and then went to the store to get them. I believe the 921 is the third brake light bulb, but it's easy to check.

I'm not getting any warnings about bulbs being out, we'll see...
If you do get the load resistors, keep in mind that they get very hot - don't mount them near or touching any of the wiring, it will melt the insulation. It's best to mount them to something metal. I had a pair of them in my musclecar and trying them out I just had them sitting on the trunk carpet... the load resistors melted the carpet.

what bulbs did you change? Most of mine are already LED on the 16 Sport, and I only changed the cargo, CHMSL, and backup bulbs with the ZEVO

What reverse bulbs did you use? I used the zevo and got the bulb out message. Looking for a better reverse light but without the warning message.
