Just the reverse, cargo CHMSL & tag lights. My taillights are oem LED
I went out and started the truck, the warning came on, then disappeared and didn't come back after shutting down and restarting the truck. Weird....if it just shows up briefly like that occasionally, I can live with it.

Where do you see the bulb out warning? Since I just got this truck a week ago, I haven't figured everything out yet! lol
I have driven the truck a couple of times since I changed bulbs and so far nothing shows up.
In your instrument cluster between the speedo and rpm gauges. It doesnt always pop up. Check your stored messages, maybe you missed the pop up.

I edited my message, I did see it once. I'm surprised on these that they didn't just install LEDs from the factory. The whole point about LEDs is less power consumption, but then you install a load resistor and it's no longer less power consumption - the resistor puts the load right back to where it was - or more. lol

Also know you'll get a bulb out warning for your reverse and tag plate lights... I do. Plan on adding resistors soon. I didn't change the CHMSL brake lights.

If you can get the CANBUS LED bulbs you will not get the warning. I have some installed on mine that are CANBUS and it sends the correct signal back to the ECU and gives no warning. I am about to order the H11 and the 9005 for my Low Beams and Fog Lights and will update you guys on any warning lights.

So after the HR link was posted and I scoffed at the price tag... I'm now contemplating them (LOL) over adding the Sylvania resistors (which I already possess).
I'm not ready to dive in and do the work myself *drilling and splicing) as I'm going to have a camera and lightbar installed and figured just pay them to do the resistors too, however, just buying the HR sets (tag & reverse) seems a simpler/safer way to go maybe cheaper ($99 for the 4 bulbs) too...

What do you guys think?

I just installed Philips Bright White 6000K LED Back-up Light Bulbs (921/T16) (H139649) - # 12789LPB2. So far no codes or light out messages

Oops! Spoke too soon. Now getting the message when first start the engine. Message on briefly and then goes out.

Will give it some time to see if I can tolerate it or not
