Adding keyless entry 2012

I just got done adding factory remote start to my 2013 and told my friend about it. He has a 2012 that does not have keyless entry. Am I able to add keyless entry to his truck with a fob and my alfaobd?

If his 2012 has power door locks then yes. I did this on my 2012 1500 ST. Bought a fob online and was able to program the fob and use alfaobd to turn on the rf transmitter for the keyless entry.
