Adding Tire Pressure Sensors?

Can tire pressure sensors be added to wheels that don't have them? I have a 2018 Ram 1500 with a tire pressure monitoring system. I'm buying a 5th matching factory wheel for a full size spare. This wheel doesn't have tire pressure sensors. Can they be added? Or will my spare just have to go without it?

Sure. Any tire store can install one for you. Most are attached to the valve stem. I don't know though if the computer will try to read all 5 at the same time if you carry the spare in the truck.

In my opinion i wouldnt get it so it would constantly remind me that i need to fix the other original tire

I was thinking the same thing if I wasn't able to do it.
