Advice on running boards/nerf bars

I have a 14' 1500 QC. I want to get some nerf bars, but I really don't like the 3" tubular bars, pretty much offered everywhere. Anyone have different ones that they would recommend? I'd like something that's closer to the body of the truck that protrube out as much as the 3" tube bars.

Nfab, westin, and smittybuilt have some that are nice, they are the hopped style
