looking for aftermarket mats. I’ve always used weather tech but these are not yet available. Any other alternatives?

Had Weathertech in all of our trucks for years. Good mat last a long time. But they tend to be a stiff material and found that they curl at the edges. When the 2018 came in I ordered a set of Huskys. HD, great quality fit, but softer material. Liked them so much that I replaced the Weathertechs in the 03 Quad Cab.

I have also had weather tech in all trucks. I found husky when I have made my search but it seems they don’t have the shells made for the 19s yet, with your comment I think I will give them a go. I’ll have to just wait. It appears the stock mats are very similar to gen 4. Do I risk making the order for 18 model year?

I contacted Husky about two weeks and got this reply

"We have done measurement on this vehicle but they will not be complete for 2 months."

Ben, I would not do that. I suspect the floor pans in the 19's are different than the 18's. I realy believe that if you wait until Husky gets the templates from Ram and they make their run, you will be satisfied. Note; when you go to the Husky website (once they are available) you will see a couple choices. The mat you choose for MI conditions may be different than the one I choose for Ca. Hope this helps.

I believe the ram oem mats are cheaper than the weather tech. $112.00
You also get the front and back. I have them on my new ram and they are very nice.

I've had Husky X-Act Contour mats in my last two F150s....but since they aren't out yet I ordered a set of the Mopar All Weather Mats. They are VERY similar to the Husky's but my truck hasn't delivered yet....just looking at the mats they look good and for $100 they could not be beat!

I purchased Lloyd floor mats for my limited, I’ll have them tomorrow. I’ll post up pics when I get them.

Thanks everyone for the insight. Thankfully summer has hit here in Michigan. I will be going with the stock carpet/rubber limited mats that came with it until husky makes it release...hoping for a long Michigan summer.

I work for Ram and the OEM ones are actually really good for the 19s. In my 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen, I had Huskey liners (loved them) In the 4th gen I have weather techs (also really good) but if you want them now, get the OEM ones.

I went with the OEM rubber slush mats. They were about $100 and are a perfect fit.

This is the description on the website:
Mopar is proud to offer these newly designed, genuine OEM rubber mats that are constructed from a rugged, high-density compound and are shaped to the exact contours of your vehicle's footwells. Raised side walls provide superior coverage in the front, back, and sides, so your carpets are protected from water, snow, mud, and daily wear and tear.

These all-weather slush mats were engineered by Mopar using proprietary data, and feature more rigid sidewalls and a 33% thicker midsection than previous mats, nibbed anchors, and a new advanced reservoir system that contains spills. Installation and removal for cleaning are simple, with an exclusive interlocking system that eliminates installation hassles.

I have the Old Style OEM mats in my 2015 BUT looks like I will be getting the New Style fronts. I am OK with my back mat as it is hardly used! I was looking to upgrade to after market, and was disappointed with the Front Hump protector from Husky as it is thin. and IMO a tad short on the sides. Works OK . Here I go spending a few more $$$ on the RAM even when I do not really need to lol
