I have a 17 ram crew cab with 2 10's. I have a small 500w amp and a cap I need to mount. I was thinking about using some self tappers and drilling into the wall behind the seat. Is there a better way to mount it or does anyone have pics of theirs mounted? Thanks

You can glue a piece of MDF to the back wall and screw into that.

Exactly what I did. 3/4” MDF and liquid nails. Used a dumbbell overnight as a brace.

I strapped mine under the front seats with Velcro one. Any professional thief would have a screw gun, wire cutters, etc anyways.

Yeah, there’s not much you can do to deter professionals, although I’m in favor of snipers. I once spilled a big gulp in my truck and killed an amp. Mine have been on the back wall ever since.

Never even thought of a spill. Great point.

Mine are on the back wall. They're sitting on the floor leaning against it with screws through the cardboard/carpet cover to keep them from falling over. They've never moved. And if someone was going to steal them, I'd like to think they could get them out with less damage done to my truck this way
