Does anyone have an aftermarket antennae they recommend that is shorter than the stock giant bean stock? I'm looking to go white probably...
I have a 2013 Longhorn.

I have a .50 cal replica antenna with an orange tip. Reception sucks, but looks good.

I did the aluminum arrow upgrade. Looks cool, shorter than the whip, and no loss of signal. Tried a stubby antennae, but it wasn't worth a crap. Couldn't get signal if my life depended on it.

I also have the Stubby and I love the way it looks but very poor reception. I listen to satellite radio - so it’s all good!

I have recons aluminum short antenna. Looks good and has decent signal yet. I listen to Sirius all the time so it doesn’t matter to me signal quality tho.

Hopefully those came out pretty clear. You can buy them from Cabela's and the like. I think it's pretty cool and kinda unique. ab1963a6ac37898ef142ed859dab8f76.jpgb7ad2b957a185a540fef464ddd1cc96d.jpg

I've got a stubby and I can confirm it works well in town, but in the sticks it sucks for FM. I pretty much use my phone 100% and occasionally will tune into AM for news/weather if I don't have cell coverage so I'm happy with it. It looks 100% better than the OE antenna in my opinion.

I did not want to loose reception, so I put a long piece of black electrical heat shrink tubing on my stock antenna. It looks great, and even matches the ham radio antenna on the roof.

I like my stock antenna BECAUSE of its height.....in parking garage ceilings, it's the first thing to hit before you peel off your clearance lamps and your cap! It serves to give you fair warning of impending disaster!

Maybe I'll try some white shrink for mine to color match it. Thanks for the idea

Walmart sells a 10 inch flexible replacement antenna that works nearly as good as stock. Black, $9. Looks great.

I have the oG stubby. Terrible reception. Suprised nobody has sued them for saying the reception is just as good as stock [emoji102]

I'm using the Craven Speed stubby in black. Looks good but reception is just so-so.

Thread is 1/4 20 so anything with that thread will fit. I use an aluminum stalk and ball from a busted tripod. Gets fewer stations but there are only a few that I like. Mostly I llisten to sirius 50's and 60's music anyway.

RZRman, what kind of light bar is that on the front? Looks sweet!

I too, DESPARATELY need an antenna upgrade, the reception on the stock antenna is terrible!! OR, is it the radio itself?? Thank goodness I'm using XM right now, but sometimes it's nice to put on local stations for sports talk or local news.
