They come matte black, I painted them a satin black, that made em look darker and then the signal and clear corner are both lightly smoked, you cant buy them with clear corners, individual clear corners are sold for OEM projectors, they dint fit these, so i pulled out my dremel and started to do some cutting and this was my end result
Nice! So you bought new corners, or smoked yours? Sorry for all of the questions, they just look so good.

You can also order almost a factory replacement from rock auto in both chrome and black. The only difference I see is that the oem has a Ram logo but that’s no biggie.

Check out rock auto

Just checked out rock auto. They want $261 for each headlight. Depot seems to be the cheapest so far.

lol there is a reason for that, I did forget that out of all of my sets of these only one of them have not had the projector high beam shield fail, my set im running right now only has one projector that the flap moves into high beam mode, lucklly you still have the separate high beam area so it doesnt look completely stupid but still

Demon is right about the flap issue. I have a set, one flap got stuck down and would require multiple flashes to get it to open up. I was still under warranty and had it swapped out.

So far, the original and the replacement are fine. If you were to ask me if I would do it again, my answer would be "Yes."

I drive a lot, and being in the North East with winters I drive mostly in the dark. I put in a good set of morimoto HID's with the quad to projector adapter. I'm happy.

My set are properly sealed, and so far the LED's are working perfectly.

i would buy them again, but i dont think they are worth the price of them, whats crazy is the lights flicker on the parking lights only, the signals and everything else work like they are supposed to (tried on multiple rams)

I have 55w HIDs in mine and ill say the low beam output on mine are very good, the flickering is a gamble and so is the leaking, the set im using now, the adjustment screw allows water to get in oddly enough, so i had to do something about that...

Your paying for quality...... all other lights including spyder at some point will start to develop issue might be with cfl or moisture. The rock auto ones are pretty well built and worth the money

Rock auto states they use aftermarket projectors from TYC, Depot, spyder, and other sellers, depends on which brand they have in stock at the time.

You can specifically buy the TYC projector replicas from Rock auto. With the 5% off promo code that's floating around for rock auto, a pair of black TYC projectors come to around $448 shipped.

The TYC housings are LEAGUES better then the Spyder and Depo ones.

Yeah but when i finally do decide to buy aftermarket factory projectors, i will probably try the depot ones. If they dont work, send them back. They come with a warranty.

They’re all the same just under different names, but most of them are sold now with Amber turn signals instead of white
Not trying to hijack this thread but, what method did you use to open the lights? I tried the oven at 250 for 15-20 minutes and couldn't get even part of the lens off. A heat gun is all that worked and it bent some of the black plastic housing. Working on the reflectors now hoping they will go back together and seal up good.

i think on these i used the heat gun on them, 4th gen lights are tricky so you have to do it just right
