I'm looking for a set of those either in TYC or OEM....I need to do the conversion from quad headlamps and heard those are the only brands that will work properly for the wiring. They all want $600 plus for those though

View attachment 138303 Found a set of these on craigslist for only 280 or I could trade my TYC's for em.

Anyone ever use these? I have TYCs now with morimoto HIDs and my truck is totally blacked out except for the shrouds over the projectors so really wanna get the blackout ones just worried about the cut-off and output.

Problem with the all black shrouds is the inside paint with melt from the heat from the projectors. Chrome won’t be do that. I’d keep with you have.

DC2CEEBF-376C-4DB5-8C91-A4F8255F2E60.jpeg I have a set of the black out projectors that put I put leds in but wound up having condensation issues in the passenger side assembly.
I always hated the look of the blacked out lights so I bought a set of chrome Laramie style lights from TYC and love them.

The ones he posted look like black molded plastic. Not painted.

Was there any issue with the light output or cutoff?

Wanna let em go for cheap $$?

Personally, I don’t like the led lights in projectors. The output doesn’t look right and tends to give dark spots. HID’s would be your best bet for projector style headlights.
Ya, I’d sell my blacked out light but I’m in Canada so shipping to the states would be high probably.

I’m not sure yet if I’m going to sell them. They’d be good spare lights if I ever needed them.
The boxes that my new TYC lights came in were huge and was around $150 Canadian to ship

Where in Canada are you located? I would do a swap with you for my OEM projectors.

TYC lights are a perfect fit and quality seems really good so far.
The orange lights aren’t as bright in DRL mode which is fine. The round projector lens is clear compared to the opaque lens of OEM which makes the stock low beam halogen bulb brighter in my opinion.
Personally, I like the TYC Laramie style light better than the blacked out OEM lights I had for brightness.
I’ve also had no condensation issues either.
