Aftermarket Front camera

Ok bare with me, curious if anyone has tried the following.

On my pioneer next I currently am utilizing the extra AV input with a hdmi to rca cable for mirroring my phone.
Now here is the question. I would like to connect a front camera ( for better parking judgement ). Problem is like I said the extra av input is occupied. Would i be able to use a splitter ? This is the camera

So they make a video switc for multiple camera to operate one one input. The one I used (and still have sitting in a box) had a promamry one that was for my reverse camera, and the others operated when a 12v trigger was activated for that input. I wired up a simple push button that allowed me to turn it on when needed (mostly for pulling close to whatever is in front of me).

Receiver had a dedicated backup so I’m good with that. I found this piece, someone told me it will do the trick as long as I don’t have both at the same time. I only mirror when I’m bored in the truck or on a long trip. So hopefully it will do the trick.

The PAC VS41 would work well for a front camera. You can figure out what you want your trigger to be, but it will auto switch for you.
