Post up pictures of your aftermarket headlamps!

Purchased some tinted ones off ebay.. love the look, hate the visibility at night.

I'd like to get some ideas for some others.

Both of those are nice. Loving the looks of the projectors.

What's it like to wire them in?

Mine were very tedious to get all together and wired, cost me around $450 for everything and that was doing it myself

The halos on mine just needed to be wired into the headlight wires. It wasn't too hard just time consuming.

I did my own projector headlights. It only cost me around $100 total too. I ordered retrofit projectors off ebay for like $30 and then another $30 for the H1 6,000k xeon HID kit from DDM Tuning. I had to purchase resistors to fix the flicker, which was around $40. I don't have any pics of them on my computer right now but I'm going to take some later and I'll put them up.

I did have to do all the wiring up myself. I ordered wires off ebay for around $6 that plug straight in to the OEM headlight harness. Then wired everything into those instead of hacking in to the OEM harness. A little time consuming but so worth it!

If anyone is interested in doing their own and need any help PM me and I'll explain how I did it.

Like I said it's time consuming but $100.00 is defiantly better then paying $400.00 like I did for my first Ram.

^ props for doing your own work!

I bought some Recons dirt cheap on ebay, I was looking for something better than the hids in halogen housings without breaking the bank. Maybe down the roads I'll look into '13+ Projector lamps but for now i'm happy and they fit the bill. I did not wire the L.E.D.'s or the halo rings, not into that, just wanted better output and that's what i got!

Branther same here man I did all my own work on my headlights. I'm going to post a thread up soon with my process. But for me I did $480 worth of parts. Fx-r projectors brand new headlights, d2s hids with 55 watt ballast and the wiring harness. Did all the work myself and I'm very please with the output and land quality of the products. Plus I can sit back and say that I did them. Which in my opinion is one of the best feelings ever!
