I purchased the power outlet and bevel for the 115V power outlet. I do not want to install the factory inverter. I would however like to use the nice factory outlet to blend into the dash. The problem is that the back of the outlet (#56046934AA) has a connector for factory wiring. I took apart the outlet and there is no good place to connect a regular wire from aftermarket inverter. Is there a way that I can get a pigtail with that connector?WIN_20230516_16_39_56_Pro (2).jpg

I want to do this also.
Have you completed this project yet? How did you finish it?
I was looking at the outlet and had planned to cut the factory harness off and use it for the aftermarket inverter.

Simple wiring could accomplish this, however, i agree from what I have read online so far, if you increase wattage, you need to address the wiring diameters, to account for higher draws. For me, my current inverter is working for 5-10 mins then shuts off. I'm looking at buying a used unit of ebay to address. An Aftermarket unit would be better, but don't feel like re-running wires at this point as my AC inverter is only used to charge phones and low amperage items. Would be nice to find a source for the connectors so I could wire it up in the future or at least have the opportunity to. I guess you could just kill the connectors all together and wire/solder directly to the existing terminals and wires.
