Hello--as my 2017 Laramie has just turned 80k I was thinking of getting an aftermarket warranty, i.e. Endurance,Car Shield etc..my wifes extended warranty will be paid off next month and I figures what the heck---have had no problems with the truck but every year we do drive 2,000 to Yuma for the winter and back--Maybe just thinking as the miles grow may encounter some problems ..Has anyone had or dealt with these companies/ I can do my own maintenance--oil changes, brakes, tune ups, some emission stuff but anything major I don't know if I could handle it. Also how many mies do you change your plugs at--druns great--may only have the truck a few more years --just curious--thanks

I've never had a warrant for any of the trucks that I have had. Just set a side some money every paycheck and before you know it you will have a slush fund just for the truck. Warranties are just a waste of money. Especially if you are handy enough to get your hands dirty and do the work yourself. You will also have the satisfaction of working on your own truck.
