Cold air intake 6.4

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'm planning to upgrade my RAM 2500 5th generation with a 6.4L engine to a cold air intake. What do you recommend from reputable companies based on your experience?

The factory intake is already one of the best cold air intakes you can have,save your money.

Factory is definitely one of the best and most optimal performing systems, but if you just want that throatier sound and a much cooler look, RAM has a ram air or look at the Vararam set-up because that's what you came here to hear. Both are pricey, but those are your best choices. I went with the Vararam because the RAM ram air didn't exist at that time.

The 6.4 is a totally differant animal,you can't run a vararam or the factory 5th Gen 1500 intake on it.The only outfit building an aftermarket CAI for the 2500's 6.4 is S&B,it's an okay intake,but not really any better then his stock airbox is.
His 2500 is still a 4th Gen as the 2500's haven't really changed much

The factory set up takes the air in from the passenger side fender wheel. It is cold air.

There are mods to the factory air box that takes the air from the front of the truck.

I doubt you will get any proformace from either.

In Oman, you might think about a snorkel for clean air.
