Has anyone used / installed these? We don't haul tons, but do haul a pretty heavy horse trailer 20-25 times a year. Noticed yesterday the squat that this seemed to put on the rear of my stock truck.

What are your opinions on performance and installation?

Thanks.

There are a few of us with air suspensions on our trucks. Head over to the suspension page and there are a lot more replies on this.

I personally have the LoadLifter pro series paired with the 74000ez wireless compressor kit. I tow a 6300# trailer almost daily and it's a fantastic addition and I would highly recommend any air assist kit for these trucks.

I installed the Air Lift 1000 on mine this past summer. I was great for towing a 6000 aluminium travel trailer. Using these in conjunction with some weight distribution bars would work nicely for what your towing.

Have the standard AirLift 1000 (red) on mine, work great. Experimented with air pressure, started at 18-20PSI am now running them at 10-12PSI unloaded and have ran as much as 30PSI one time when pulled a 6000# trailer. If I were to replace these, would highly consider using the HD. IN addition to load carrying capacity, running airbags made the truck corner flatter.

I installed those about a year ago and they do work very well. Just lift the truck so the springs uncompress since the bags need to slip in between.
