Ive been lurking thru the threads on the topic with little to no luck on my problem.
I have a 17 rebel that I recently replaced the rear bags, compressor, and valve block. System was charged on shop air/compressor for the time being. I had no problems after the mentioned replacement parts but over the last few days my bags have been deflated to the stops and cycling thru the transport/wheel alignment modes does nothing. I get a reoccurring message when I try to use the ride height buttons of "ride height not permitted due to payload" but the truck is empty. Ive disconnected the battery in hopes to reset without luck. Ive ordered a tongle and downloaded alphaobd to try and isolate the problem. Wondering if anyone else has run into this? The air ride shows itself as being in normal mode on the dash, but is completely deflated. Any help on this or a link to a thread with this would be fantastic. And please save the delete the air ride comments. Thanks

With the warning it sounds like one of the sensors could be relaying bad information and the system is shutting down. Check all the sensors, they unlatch, and see if there are any not properly sealed. You could try contact cleaner and see if that clears it up. You can also check each with a voltmeter to see if one appears to be giving errant or no signals, check online for videos for this. Make sure you do this before firing the parts cannon (another member here used that term and I am reusing it) because it could be just a dirty or corroded contact, or even a wire issue away from the sensor, for example. Good luck.

One of my troubleshooting methods was to first ensure reservoir tanks are at or over 130PSI. After words, and once the truck is started, truck would raise on it's own. Now, with a full system, (albeit air not nitrogen) I'd start the search for leaks. Spraying soapy water on all connection points and bags themselves in hopes to reveal bubbling. Some trucks reveal the leaking bubbles better than others when on different ride heights, so be sure to check while on each height setting. At times it was a bag needing replacement, entire switch block, and other times a single o-ring. Good luck
