Looking to level my 2017 Ram 1500 Limited, air suspension….I realize there aren’t a lot of options but what I’ve noticed is there are a couple companies, Revel performance and Airlinks in particular, that use spacers for leveling but when I check out the spacers on their sites (day star, motofab and southern truck) those exact ones say they are not for use with air suspensions. Any ideas as to why? Has anyone used them? Confused as to why the manufacturer says no but other “3rd party” sellers sell them for that…
Thanks

I know some guys on the rebel forum have used the daystar ones without issue, but not sure why they say not for air suspension. Maybe just because it's a fussy system they want no part of. I have a set of the revel links. Didn't like the ride with the suspension aired up and didn't want to put spacers in so just left the suspension stock in the end and the links are packaged up collecting dust in the garage.i also have a 2017 limited on air ride.

You can use Revel links to adjust your suspension height. Literally a 20 minute job.
Shameless plug, I have a set for sale that I took off my 18 Rebel before I traded it in. PM me if interested.

You have to disconnect the air line to the struts to install any of the strut spacers therefore opening the system causing possible leaks and contamination ect. Basically they are avoiding blame by just saying they don't fit.

They probably say they dont work with the air suspension because there are other parts needed (the links) for it to work properly.

Yea I know they are a pain and not easy so that’s probably some of it. But I did reach out to both Revel and Airlinks. Revel says they are good to use together. Motofab actually got back to me too and said not to use them but when I asked about using the links he said that would work then. Go figure. You’d think they’d mention that tid bit.

I installed the Revel Performance Lift Kit with Front & Rear Links and 2.0” Front Daystar Spacers on my 23 Limited. End result was a 2.5” lift to the normal ride height while maintaining the smooth factory ride. Still have a rake of approx 1.5-1.75” which I like for when I am towing or carrying heavy load. As you probably know, you can adjust the links to get as close to level as you want. I have 19K on my truck and have had no issues so far.

Link to the kit below...the techs at Revel were very helpful with explaining how the links work and very responsive to all of my questions.

The tires I went with are LT295/55R22 Toyo Open Country A/T IIIs (35X12.2).
