airlift 5000 air bags

Looking at airlift 5000 airbags as I recently purchase a travel trailer I read that I need 8 inches of clearance between jones bumper bracket and axle bracket. I only have 7.5 on right side and 7.25 on left. Has anyone had a similar issue and went with the 5000 or should I go with the recommendations of the company and get the 1000hd

I would give them a call and ask them what the differences are between the various 5000 series as far as height requirements. The 89365 does not mention the 8.125" requirement, where as the 89370 does while both being identical in features. In my case with a small rear lift I'd be just fine with the 89370 as it looks to be slightly longer for those of us that are a bit taller. There are also the timber grove bags if you want an alternative axle to frame setup rather than going for in-coil bags.

Thanks for the alternative. I had not heard of the timber grove bags but really like the looks. I watched the install video liked them even more, called the company spoke to the actual owner, ended up ordering a set. I will put a review up after install. Thanks again.
