If you pay any attention to the negative stories you'll drive yourself crazy. It's important to keep in mind that people are far more likely to post about problems, than when something just works.

So far, my Ram, just works. There! I said it.

Not a 2500 with the 6.4, but my 2017 Rebel has run flawless since I bought it in Oct of 2017. I have driven only Rams since 1999 and never had a true issue with any of them. On number 7, only change cause...I like to.

35k miles on my '15 and it's been the right tool for the job more often than not. If we ignore fuel economy it's a confident and comfortable ride going across the country and deep into the woods. Not a lot to complain about.

125 000 km's and no issues yet. Nobody tells good news stories because they're boring lol.

In seven years I haven't had so much as an engine light. I should add that other than recalls and 1 wheel alignment, I have been the only person to work on it. I always check the forum before I make any mods to see where or if guys are encountering problems and it's helped me steer clear of any issues so far.

This forum, hands down, keeps my truck off the service floor.

So let’s have good stories

2013 RAM 1500 4.7/65RFE purchased off the showroom floor, running great with 423K on her with 0 issues.

2016 Chrysler 300, 3.6/ZF8HP70 purchased brand new off showroom floor and has 90K on her and 0 issues.

2019 Chrysler 300, 3.6/ZF8HP70 purchased (again) off the showroom floor brand new and has absolutely 0 issues, and has 19K on her.

Long Live FCAnation!

I would bet Doug Thorley’s longtubes would fit a 6.4 4wd 2500, even 8 speed if the ARH works for both.

Some miss the mark, nature of the system.
Most , do not.
Overall, i think they are pretty good truck and have no more flaws than any other and maybe less.

I had cam and lifters done but it was doen under waranty. thus far, 110K miles, none of my own money on repairs.
that does not mean no money spent thouhg.
Damn Rams are HORRIBLE about making you want to mod Mod MOD

2017 Laramie CC 4X4 Hemi, and I love it! Been an outstanding weekend adventure rig, and on occasion pulls the horse trailer. Sure the gas mileage is low, but sometimes ya gotta pay to play. One pleasant surprise is it fits in every under building garage I have tried, including the public library in downtown Seattle!

Hell I even enjoy the maintenance, pretty dang easy to change the oil and filters on my own

Well had a 2007 1500 Thunder Road 4.7 I bought brand new. Hated the 4.7 but had no issues with it other than no power. At about 12,000 miles they replaced the pitted rotors under warranty and replaced tie rod ends under warranty that were worn out. Traded that in at about 45,000 miles in 2013 for a 2013 1500 5.7 that I traded this past May with 67,000 miles. No issues other than battery going bad after about 3 years and broken exhaust manifold bolts right before I traded it. My 2018 2500 has been flawless through 5000 miles so far.

My step-father had a 2008, 2011, 2014, and now a 2017 1500's and has never had a problem with any of them and my step-son has had a 2010, 2015 and now a 2019 and no issues with any of those.
