Hello all,
I am new to the Dodge Ram family. I am wanting to do some things with my 2012 ST. Is there a version of Alpha OBD that works with a 2012? Everything I see is for 2013 plus.
Also the Alpha is just a software right? Will I need something else to connect to my truck?

Thanks and sorry if this has been covered but I could not seem to find anything for a 2012

It works fine on a 2012, I think it was a misunderstanding somewhere when that thread was first started. This software came out when gen 3's were still new, the things you can do with it are different between the years, bit I've used in on my 2010 and my son's 2012 without issues.

AlfaOBD paid for itself for an upgrade to the wife's 300. We added a factory backup camera much cheaper than any alternative method and still say with OEM equipment.

Put some good led lights in the foglights on the 300 then enable the foglight drop out so you can run the fogs with the high beams. One of the best things i did to our 300,makes seeing the wild life in the ditches alot easier, lol Also did it on my 2014 Sport, still have to do it to the wifes 2019 Challenger, but as soon as i track down the access cable for it "cheap" ,it'll also get the foglight drop out done.
