Getting ready to start my stereo install. Can't wait to get this finished.
2 12" Alpine Type R's, box from Net Audio, Kenwood 7" components for front and back, Alpine MRX-M110, Alpine MRX-F65, XS Power D3400 battery for under the hood, Stinger 5 Farad Hybrid Cap, and plenty of stinger wire and accessories for the amps and big 3 upgrade. I have the 100mil Sound Deadner from KnuConceptz. I already have the Kenwood DDX-719 and backup camera installed. I'll keep this post updated as my build progresses.

1.5" spacers to raise the seats. The seat backs don't stay hooked when the bottom is raised but they still hook when in the seated position which is all i need. The spring tension from the bottom being up keeps the back steady.

Finished installing my new battery along with the big 3 upgrade. Took a little reworking due to the reverse polarity with the original battery but i think i turned out pretty good.

Installed the 7" components in the doors. I like these due to the extremely small crossover that is used.

Installed the RUX Knob for my Alpine amp in an easy to reach location.

Awesome man! Appreciate all the pics along with the install, I know sometimes it can be tedious documenting everything with a camera and then uploading it to the forum.

How was installing the tweet on the mirror cap? Does it sound pretty decent?

I haven't got around to installing the amps yet so right now i have no music at all in the truck. I wanted to do it today but it's raining out and i don't feel like pulling the rear seats out in the rain. The hardest part of installing the tweeters was pulling the trigger on the drill to make the holes. Very nerve racking not knowing if the tweeter will fit perfectly in that location or not. Buying a new door panel would of really sucked, but they fit nicely in the front and the rear doors. If there's a break in the rain i might try to get some sound today, otherwise i'll give it a shot this weekend.

Yeah I totally understand the feeling of pulling the drill trigger. One of my buddies was very addimit about having tweets put in the doors of his 1963 lincoln Cont. instead of letting me build some pods for him out of fiber glass. Its was pretty scary the first time we set them in and didn't fit but luckly we only had to trim a bit for the wire leads to fit through the opening.

These tweeters took a 1 3/4" hole. I had to take a hand file and make them just a tad bigger, not much at all though. It was a nice tight fit when i was done.

Finished up the wiring today . Now to set the gains and crossovers on my amps and put the seats back in. Gonna set the amps tomorrow at work as to not **** off my neighbors. So far though this thing sounds AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I've had some nice stereos before but never anything brand new and never the sound quality i have right here.

Thanks for the compliment. I ran 16awg wire to the speakers in each of the doors. It was a little tricky doing the front drivers side door but i saved that one till last so i knew what i was doing by then.
