Alpine SPR69s

I recently upgraded speakers in my 13 ram tradesman to the ALpine SPR-69 6x6s and the kicker ks-35 in the dash. the sound is freekin awesome the new 3 1/2s are a little bright but i like actually hearing vocals etc. I just balanced it back a little and its perfect. the Alpines mount right up to the factory holes and install tool less than 10 mins once door panels are removed. Sounds awesome very nice rounded sound. no need for a sub, those days long gone for me. bought the alpines off ebay for 113 a pair and ordered the plug and play clips for all 3 sets of speakers. If any one is wondering what speakers fit the best, try the spr-69s for a direct replacement. hope this will help people looking for good replacements.

Just wait a couple weeks for them to break in. I've ran the exact same setup as you for over two years now with no problems and I absolutely love the sound.

Are the Alpines mounted in the front doors or rear?

Both. I have a set in the front and a set in the rear. They mount perfect, and the screw holes line up exact on my 13 express QC. Just make sure you get the adapter harness' from either ebay or crutchfield (ebay is half the cost) when installing so you dont have to solder or splice or cut any wiring.

Any idea on the part number for the adapter harness or link? Did they work for the dash as well? I'm about to do a full system in my 2014 RC. I hate cutting into original wires!

Had my door panels off today doing the running light mod on my tow mirrors. Figured I'd snap some pics of the Alpine to show how it mounts the same as stock.

Doing this exact setup on Wednesday along with upgrading my Express door panels to Laramie trim. Can't wait for both.
