I have a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi and need to know the number of the alternator fuse. It is listed as F18, but I only have J's and M's in my fuse box.

I can’t help answer your question, it took me 3 times looking for my windshield wiper fuse, had to be there but I sure wasn’t seeing.I have a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi and need to know the number of the alternator fuse. It is listed as F18, but I only have J's and M's in my fuse box.

Is there a fuse block off of the positive cable/post for alternator? Wat I was thinking, skerry. IIRC one for Alternator one for Power Steering rack, if he has EPS rack and not power steering pump.Look on the positive battery terminal, you should see several large value fuses.
Trace the large positive lead on the alternator back the the positive battery terminal and that should help you identify the correct fuse.
Alternatively, if you test DC volts with a multimeter on the large wire connections at the positive lead, that will verify the fuses or identify an open fuse.
And, welcome to Ram Forum.
